Our vision and mission

Our vision is to see the Biblical message accessible to all, especially for oral-preference communicators. Our mission is to equip language teams with media tools and options to make that vision a reality.

Oral communicators often choose to receive information through other means than reading.  Audio Scripture and video media often communicate the Word of God to these audiences as well as storying, drama, art and music.  International Media Services promotes these types of media and expression.

Tools that empower Media Development in any Language

Our products offer media tools that empower media development in any language in a variety of formats.  Products can either be downloaded or we can ship it to you on the media of your choice.  Each comes complete with instructions for installation, directions for use and technical assistance.  You can also consult our website for Technical Assistance or ideas for Media Distribution.

We specialize in equipping language teams with a variety of media products transforming the Scripture into sight and sound for oral communicators.  We supply digital, audio and visual media along with hardware accessories or advice as to which to use.  We also assist in on-site recording and training.

Video Shells and Templates

IMS has produced a number of ready to go products which allow translators to do their own dubbing and recording of everything from videos (the Jesus Film, Luke Video, Genesis Film) to video templates (Bible Story Video Templates and Bible Backgrounds). Much more is available on our Products page.

DISTRIBUTION

Hardware and Methods

IMS offers hardware options for use in engaging language groups with Scripture.  We can direct you to resources for your project or send you specific hardware such as SD's loaded with media data in your language, audio Bible players, solar battery packages and or portable projection devices.

 TRAINING

IMS Training and Recording

We offer consulting and media technology team members who can record or dub videos on-site or offer specialized training on-site for recording. We also offer a 3 month training course in media here at JAARS, Waxhaw, NC.
